Research Programs
The Comprehensive Center for Pain Research recruits from and interacts with diverse areas of expertise within the University of Florida. The CCPR has three main research dimensions:

- Clinical
- Basic-Clinical
Taking advantage of the resources and expertise found within the McKnight Brain Institute, the six Colleges of the Health Science Center, the University of Florida Cancer Center, the College of Arts and Sciences, and numerous Institutes and Centers throughout the University, the Center can develop new programs and expand existing ones in these areas.
Members of these organizations have committed to develop new initiatives and expand existing programs related to the onset and progression of acute and chronic pain.
